  1. Do you eat the meat as is or put it in soup/stew? I have five hens that seem to have stopped laying. I really hate to butcher them, especially as two are from my very first batch of chickens, but it doesn’t seem to make sense to keep feeding unproductive birds. 😦



  2. You really must stew them, their meat is just too tough to roast or bake. The most awesome broth you’ll ever sip!
